Today was our final day for this week, the next week we will not have any lessons and this is the last blog day. So today I finished up my conclusion and then started reading it in my head to proof read it. I read it once more and I found some mistakes which I changed. But the final piece still is not ready.

Today was a Tuesday, I worked on my first characteristic which was education of Ancient China. I was still working on it because this was my longest paragraphs, but I finished it and started to work on the jobs characteristic but it was hard because I didn't know how to start my paragraphs.

28-April-2010:

Today we had a double lesson, in the first lesson I started writing my paragraph/s for Education of the Ancient Chinese Civilization. I was about to finish writing paragraphs for education but the it was time to take a little break and then when we came back and our teacher showed us a site called wordle.net and you can just copy and paste your text on the text box given and they would put it in a stylish design. But we didn't really need that for our essay so I went back to writing my paragraphs. So today I ,made a couple of achievements, though I really need some time at home to work on the essay if we were allowed to take our information notes.

27-April-2010:

Today I opened my word document for education and took out all my notes for Ancient Chinese from my folder and started to write paragraphs about education for my essay. The teacher told us to try and finish it today just as a draft. So I wrote two long paragraphs but I tried to follow the good paragraph example and be aware not to make the same mistakes in the bad paragraph example.

26-April-2010

Today I had looked at the two examples of a good and bad paragraph so that I could start writing my essay.Then I started planning my essay so I opened five pages one for my Introduction, for education, Jobs, Arts and architecture and one for my conclusion. I first started with my first characteristic which was education the next lesson hopefully I will finish my paragraphs for education.

22-April-2010:

This day I just came from my first P.E swimming lesson this year and I had fun, so when I came to humanities I was in a good mood and worked good though our report cards were next so I was also frustrated. Today was also the last day searching and I chose to finalize my search with some more information for the introduction and the Ancient Chinese "jobs". In google I searched Ancient Chinese jobs and I found a really nice website that also gave me ideas for the introduction.

21-April-2010:

Today we had a double lesson and for the first lesson I used easybib.com again to finish of the rest of the bibliography. First I put the 4 books and the information and then I started putting the website I used to search about Jobs. Then I started searching again and I found a good website that talks about the Ancient Chinese dynasties which I wrote about on my cards.

20-April-2010:

Today I started citing all my bibliography in MLA format at a site called easybib.com, we just put all the information about the book in the questions like who is the author? Where was it published? I had many books in my bibliography and each one took some time to add which that unfortunately took me about the whole lesson.

19-April-2010:

Today in the library I started using the internet and focused on Jobs because I have not written enough for it. Mostly I was searching for the question what jobs did men do and what jobs did women do. I found what I was looking for on Google. Although in my point of view I think that the books were more useful to research than the internet, because I found all the things in the book in the internet.

7-April-2010:

I was finally back after a very long time away from school i missed some days but today I was ready to come back and catch up to my other classmates and thankfully I succeeded because I worked hard and the people at my table were good friends but we did not distract each other from getting work done. Right now I have used about every single information I need from books and I should start using the online resources.

25-March-2010:

This day was the last lesson before the weekend and we were all exhausted and tired because of the rough day. But I still worked my hardest and I managed to find a lot of information about art.

24-March-2010:

Today was Wednesday so it was a double lesson and again I took some books and started researching, but then I heard that we had to have at least eight books for our bibliography and there were not many books that I haven't looked at and some of the books weren't useful at all but I managed to find ten books which I used. But now I have looked at all the books and took all the information needed from each book so now it is hard to find information that I didn't get already.

23-March-2010:

Today I worked very hard I chose books, I sat down and worked and searched. For each jobs, education and arts I wrote from my research.

22-March-2010:

Today was the first day of the second week and I worked really hard throughout the lesson but I felt really tired because it was the last lesson. Despite that feeling I think that I made a lot of progress but I still Jobs was a challenge to me because there was not much to write about jobs in China. Also I found the book which made me feel relieved that I did not have to write education all over again. Finally I used another book to find more about art and architecture.

18-March-2010:

Today was the end of the week but I could not find the book from the library so the teacher told me to keep working and wait the next day because I might find it. I kept the information and just worked on and started researching about the jobs. I could not find much about jobs from the books I had but I wrote what I found and started to work on education again and write the information I didn't have from the lost book.

17-March-2010:

Today was my first day to start researching after choosing my ancient civilization because I was sick. Today I had to write the questions I am going to answer on my folder and as soon as I was done I brought a book about ancient China and started researching to catch up with my classmates. Then I started to work on the jobs but could not find much. Everything went well except that I forgot to put the references (bibliography) that I used for the information.

Today I could not work on my project because I am sick from the beginning of the week but the others started.
